Before starting her own company, Ms. Epple worked as a Project Manager for the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation & LRE Engineering. Ms. Epple has prepared traffic studies evaluating the need for intersection improvements including signal warrant analyses; prepared signal system timing plans, implemented said plans and fine-tuned them in the field; prepared intersection design plans including signalization, striping, marking and right-of-way plans for more than two hundred (200) intersections. Her experience also extends into the design and implementation of traffic calming features and associated devices/measures.

As Vice-President and a founding principal of SEI, Mr. Epple is responsible for the overview of all design projects. Even as V.P. and a company principal, Mr. Epple makes it a point to be involved in every project SEI is working on. Current duties include project planning and scheduling, client services and business development, quality control/quality assurance and cost proposals. Mr. Epple’s professional design experience includes roadway, pedestrian/bike facilities, infrastructure and civil/site design and permitting.

Mr. Adams is responsible for the overview of all surveying projects and personnel with over 25 years of surveying experience and has been registered since 1999. Extensive experience in the office and field for Georgia boundary and ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic mapping, roadway and utility route surveying, infrastructure inventory, geodetic control, GPS for control and State Plane Coordinates, asbuilts, volume analysis and hydrography.

Mr. Matthews is responsible for the design and production of all civil site and infrastructure projects. Current duties also include design staff management and project scheduling, project billing and budget analysis and cost proposals. Mr. Matthews’ experience includes drainage design, geometric design, erosion control, traffic control and quantities, site planning & grading, hydrology, flood studies, and utility design. Past development projects have included residential subdivisions, industrial distribution facilities, commercial/retail, mixed-use developments, stormwater management/hydrology for large watersheds, flood studies, drainage design and remediation.

Mr. Shelnutt has extensive experience in a multitude of civil engineering, surveying and construction projects. His experience varies from construction installation and inspection, as-built and plat survey preparation/coordination to full civil design. He is also highly skilled in 3D Laser Scanning, Clash Detection and BIM Moldeling. Mr. Shelnutt is a Level II Certified Plan Reviewer to perform erosion inspections. Mr. Shelnutt areas of expertise are Hydrology and Hydraulic Analysis; Drainage Design and Remediation; Roadway Design and Planning; Site Planning and Grading; NPDES Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Preparation; Sanitary Sewer Design; Public Water Supply and Fire Protection Design; Pavement Design and Construction.

Educated at the University of New Orleans in Communications and Tulane University for Graphic Design, she brings a diverse background in marketing and the media arts including graphic design, layout and publishing, public relations, project management, and audio/video production. Ms. Towhig’s responsibilities span across all aspects of marketing coordination including; social media communications, composing and expediting press releases, graphic design, RFP and SOQ coordination, website design and updates, and print collateral design.
