Southport Logistics Center in McDonough is a master-planned regional distribution center to be used by Kimberly-Clark Industries and was developed by Oakmont Industrial Group. The distribution center is over 1.3 million square feet under one roof on approximately 110 acres in Henry County, GA. An additional building area of approximately 300,000 sf is available as either expansion or a separate facility. The distribution facility features twenty acres of truck court/trailer storage, an internal separate road system for truck transport, and master stormwater treatment areas. SEI was involved from initial due diligence investigations through zoning/annexation, facility design and construction.
