SEI performed survey base mapping in preparation for subsequent design. Base mapping included asbuilt and topographic mapping along with boundary resolution. SEI then prepared construction plans, specifications and bid documents for the following: rehabilitation/expansion of four softball fields; conversion of a softball/football field to two multi-purpose rectangular fields for football, lacrosse and soccer; parking at the pavilion; drainage improvements; a concession/restroom building; a maintenance building; and paving throughout the park. The design included: sports field lighting upgrades, all details associated with the rehabilitation of the fields, grading, drainage, paving and all details associated with the concession/restroom and maintenance buildings based upon input and direction from Cobb County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs (PRCA) staff.
SEI provided construction administration in support of Cobb PRCA and the general contractor, and oversaw architectural and irrigation production as well.
