SEI has been chosen as a sub-consultant to the HNTB Corporation Project Management Team for the upcoming addition of Reversible HOV Lanes along I-75 and I-575 in the Northwest Corridor, a project initiated by the Georgia Department of Transportation. SEI is providing surveying services during the concept and right-of-way acquisition phase of the project, which extends northwest along I-75 from Akers Mill Road to Hickory Grove Road and along I-575 from the I-75 interchange to Sixes Road.
SEI surveying crews were commissioned to provide surveying services along I-75, from Akers Mill Road to Canton Highway. Work accomplished in this project included staking the right-of-way and easements of up to 94 parcels along the route, validating up to 30 parcels of property based upon existing deeds and documentation, topographic mapping and locating billboard overhangs.
