SEI provides comprehensive environmental services to both public and private sector clients. We have extensive experience with complex and evolving governmental regulations, policies, and guidelines. SEI works to address issues of natural resource management, ecology, air/water quality, noise impact, flood risk, transportation planning/documentation, socioeconomics, jurisdictional waters of the U.S., state waters, protected species, urban planning, landscape architecture, permitting, tree surveys/recompense, and many other environmental considerations.

For public sector clients, SEI is prepared to handle any size project with any type of funding. We have the experience to advise clients on possible funding opportunities and the environmental constraints that come with the different funding sources. SEI staff prepares documents in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA). Documentation has included Categorical Exclusions (CE/CATEX), Environmental Assessments (EA), Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), and decision documents including Findings of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Records of Determination (ROD). In addition, our staff has experience preparing and complying with state-level environmental policy act documents.

Our firm is experienced with preparing documents in accordance with NEPA, Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA), Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966, Endangered Species Act of 1973, Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act of 1980, environmental justice, community impacts, indirect and cumulative impact (ICI) assessment, and the broad range of environmental regulations relating to NEPA and GEPA.
