Due to the complexity of existing underground utilities, SEI performed asbuilt and topographic surveys of existing conditions in order to provide accurate excavation plans prior to construction. SEI then performed layout of all manholes along the duct bank for construction. As construction progressed, SEI performed as-built surveys on all newly constructed manholes along with location and depth of the duct bank being installed. This work covered approximately 22,000 linear feet and 41 manhole locations. Control verification and establishment was necessary to insure project and site continuity.
