City of Norcross: Thrasher Park

Thrasher Park is a Norcross historical green space loved by all Norcross residents. SEI was charged with the rehabilitation of the existing park and to remove an under utilized tennis court in the center and to doube the useable play space. The project presented significant challenges as it was under close scrutiny of many local residents and the City council, some of whom who were staunchly opposed to any significant changes. Jones Pierce Architects: Monastery of the Holy Spirit

SEI was selected to team with the architect for design and contract administration of a 4.2 million dollar project. SEI is providing surveying, 3D Scanning, planning, landscape architecture and engineering in support of site redevelopment activities at the Monastery. The work involves renovation and new construction over a substantial portion of the Monastery Campus called the “Gathering Area”. Existing historic barns are being upgraded with interior renovations along with other new structures to serve as a new museum, new café, bonsai green house, renovated offices and storage buildings, administration building and classrooms. ..

Cobb County DOT: Cooper Lake Road at King Springs Road

SEI designed a roundabout at this intersection for CCDOT. An intersection improvement was warranted due insufficient stopping sight distance approaching from the North along King Springs Road and an insufficient sight distance looking right approaching the form the South along King Springs Road. City of Sandy Springs: Sidewalk Project – Glenridge Drive, Mt. Vernon Highway to Abernathy Road

SEI performed 3D terrestrial laser scanning along Glenridge Drive in Sandy Springs, GA in support of a sidewalk and streetscape project. All utility services including sewer and water were further located by conventional survey methods to include structure depths.
